"All we have to believe with is our senses, the tools we use to perceive the world: our sight, our touch, our memory. If they lie to us, then nothing can be trusted. And even if we do not believe, we cannot travel in any other way than the road our senses show us; and we must walk that road to the end." - Neil Gaiman, American Gods
-giggles- I'm not a green thumb either, I leave that up to my Mum.
ReplyDeleteawww! I've a terrible green thumb. We've killed cacti before, and apparently those are supposed to live forever. Oops? But now you can set them between book pages and turn them into dried pressed flowers!
ReplyDeleteYEAH PRESS THEM AND REMEMBER THEM FOREVER AS THE FLOWERS YOU BOUGHT ON THE DAY YOU MET MY BOYFRIEND.
ReplyDeleteor don't do that. THAT'S FINE TOO.
Get a bamboo plant- they are super hard to kill.
ReplyDeleteIf I really love flowers, I take them just as they are about to start wilting, and dry them. I love dried flowers, they look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI gave up on the flowers a long time ago. When you kill the plant that the guy in the nursery said was indestructible. You know you have a black thumb.
ReplyDeleteI try to stay away from getting flowers for this reason! To avoid doing that to myself. Too much pressure!
